No Place Like Home

On November 22,2017, I closed on my studio condo. It's my first home that I have owned and it's the first time I've lived all by myself. I wasn't sure about it at first but I quickly grew to love living by myself. I'm still learing to connect with people when I need to. At times I don't want to connect with others but I also know that I can't completly isolate myself.
I love having a sense of independence and I feel like an adult who can take care of herself. It’s empowered me to figure things out and ask for help when I need it.I enjoy having my own space. I love that I don’t have to clean up right away and if I leave something somewhere it’s there when I come back. It’s annoying at times that I don’t have a fairy that comes up behind me to clean up after me. I love the space because it gives me the time I need to myself. It’s nice walking in and just taking a load physical and emotional load off.
