Growing up we used to have a tradition in our family we would open gifts on Christmas eve after church. As our family grew with my niece and nephews that had to change because they can’t stay up as late. We would stay up to eleven o’clock or midnight which is way too late for a 3-year-old to stay up to. For the last couple of years since we have grown with marriage and kids, we decided to split the adults so we only have to buy a gift for one adult instead of all fo them. We don’t do Christmas day together but we do it a  couple of days before. This year we are doing it on 12/22 at my sister’s house.
