One Man on Horse Photo

Yeah, pretending to ride a horse is actually a lot harder than riding a horse.

I’ve only been to the Bristol Renaissance Faire twice and both times were in July, once in 2018 and once in 2019. This photo was taken in 2019 while I was waiting for the jousting to start. I was mostly taking this shot to make sure I had the settings correct before the games were to begin. It reminds me of a still from a movie set. It makes me wish I could get work on a movie set. If you have any connections let me know. This knight was working out a horse that was new to him and getting it used to the jousting arena. I can’t remember exactly but I think he was getting it trained to be a jousting house but don’t quote me on that. I was meh about the photo when I looked at it but kept it because I can’t always tell what I think about a photo until I look at it. Once I got home and had a chance to look at it and made a couple of edits I feel in love with it. I have since edited again sense I’ve edited in July of 2019 because I switch from Lightroom to Lightroom Classic and I’ve gotten to be a better editor. I think he did this look just for me because I was standing at a part of the fence where he had to turn and he asked if I got a good shot with a smile. He seemed like a pretty jovial dude even though the photo doesn’t show it.
