One Chicken Photo

On a fall afternoon, I went to Kline Creek Farm and found a chicken and a pot of what I’m guessing is coffee on a picnic table. There must have been crumbs on the table that the chicken was going for. I’m grateful that I was able to get these a couple of shots off before any kids ran up to scare it off. I got a couple before this one and I would of like them just fine but I was hoping to get one where it made eye contact with me. Thankfully with a little patience and a little luck I was able to get them side eying me. With animals, you might have a shot in mind but they don’t care what you have in mind and will do as they please and human kids are the same way. I love you can see the farm’s summer kitchen in the background. I edited this back in August and my editing style has changed a bit since then and I’ve learned more about editing since then and I would edit a bit differently now but overall I love the composition of it. The detail I was able to get in the chicken. I find it funny that the table is sticking up right under one of the chicken’s feet. I’m not quite sure why I like it so much. There are so many farms to table jokes to be had with this photo. Give me your best jokes.
