My coffee has....bullets?
I haven’t always enjoyed coffee unless it was mostly flavor with just a hint of coffee. About 4 or 5 years my mom introduced me to bulletproof coffee. Bulletproof coffee is basically coffee with grass-fed butter and brain octane oil. I use unsalted Kerry-Gold grass-fed butter and the bulletproof version of brain octane oil. It’s super creamy coffee and so tasty. I’ve been drinking coffee basically every day since March 18 2020. On the days that I worked I wouldn’t always drink it mostly because I wouldn’t get up in time to make it before I would head off to work. I would drink it on days off but not always. It’s now apart of my morning routine to get up and make myself a cup of coffee. I wanted to walk you though how I make my coffee.
I don’t like particularly strong coffee and don’t think I could drink it black. I’m sure I could work up to it but I don’t have any interest in it. I put three teaspoons of coffee in the filter and I usually have to take the day before filler out because I forget to back later and take it out. I don’t take it out because it’s hot and I get distracted by the fact the coffee is done and I want to get that goodness in me. I put 4 cups of water into the tank and press the button to get it started.
While the coffee is brewing(my coffee maker is sooooo slow) I get my butter ready and get my brain octane oil in my magic bullet. I cut up butter into fours and put one of the fourth into my magic bullet and a table spoon of the brain octane oil.
Once I the coffee is finished brewing I pour it into my magic bullet and mix it all together. I’m using a rag because while mixing it together because it leaks a while mixing. I’m in the process of getting a new one but it’s going to take a bit to get to me. So in mean time I’ve jury rigging to be able to get my coffee fix.
After all that I finally get to sit and enjoy the beauty that is this coffee. It takes a hot minute but it so so worth it.
