A Trip Down Memory Lane
"Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do."

I started looking at my Lightroom library and then started looking at old photos which lead me to editing photos I didn't edit before and editing photos I differently then I did before. I started looking at old photos in my Lightroom library. I only started using Lightroom around July of 2018. I’ve learned a lot about how to use Lightroom since I started using it and I started a job that I’ve learned from others tricks of editing. I’ve recently started taking shots and then thinking of teaks to make it better in editing. I’m still trying to do my best to capture what I can in camera so I’m not spending so much time editing. When I started looking at the photos I took a year ago, I started using my new found editing skills to use on them. A couple of them I didn’t have to change much and others I made more changes too. If you follow me on Instagram (@photosbykatied) you might recognize a couple of these.I started looking at my Lightroom library and then started looking at old photos which lead me to editing photos I didn't edit before and editing photos I differently then I did before.
In most of these photos I’ve changed the sky to make it pop more or changed the color of the ground to make the golden hue of sunset become more alive. I've added a gallery(below) of the ones that I made a little bit more dramatic change to. I'm still finding my voice in my editing and some it probably won't stick but it's been fun playing around.
I would love to know which ones are your favorites. Would you like to see more of me going back to old photos and seeing what I can do with them now? What kind of posts would you like me to do? Any places you would like to see me explore and take photos of? Please comment to let me know.
